KeyDog provides cloud-hosted key and access credential management software ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service or visit our website at keydog.io.
Account information: Name, email address, institution name, and role — collected when you contact us or when your account is created.
Usage data: Log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the Service. This is used solely for security, diagnostics, and service improvement.
Data you enter: Key records, staff records, door records, audit entries, and any other data you create within the Service. This data belongs to you.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Each customer's data is stored in an isolated database. We apply access controls, regular backups, and security monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you promptly in the event of a breach affecting your data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after termination to allow data export. Audit log retention within the Service depends on your plan (1 year to 7 years). You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@keydog.io.
Our marketing website uses no third-party tracking cookies. The Service application uses a session cookie strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
We use a small number of sub-processors to deliver the Service, including cloud hosting and transactional email. Each is bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy law. We do not share your data beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
